The Beall Mansion is located in Alton Illinois. Built in 1903 for Z. B. Job, a railroad baron and entrepreneur, this 10,000 square foot mansion was a wedding gift to his wife. It later was the home of Edmond Beall and his family, who, during his lifetime, was the mayor of Alton four times, an Illinois State Senator and a businessman. Today it is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast Hotel. Tours of the Beall Mansion can be arranged.
